A Finance & Accounts professional with more than 35 years experience in reputed industries in India [last employment as General Manager with Larsen & Toubro Limited (L&T), earlier with Tinplate Company of India Limited (TCIL), SAIL and GKW]. Joined the profession as a practicing Cost Accountant since 2016.

He is a Fellow member of the Institute of Cost Accountants of India and Member of Institute of Management Accountants, USA.

He has vast exposure in both manufacturing and construction sectors and also in administration, corporate functions and liaison with Government departments.

In various capacities he has been responsible for Financial accounting and the entire range of Management accounting including Cost accounting, Cost management, Product pricing strategy, Budgetary control and Management information at various levels upto the Board. Also contributed significantly in developing long term strategic plan.

As part of a take-over arrangement, he was deputed by the parent company (TCIL) to work as Chief Finance of the target company and also handle the due diligence audit and prepare the take-over scheme with the lead Banker and Financial Institution.

In the corporate role, he was responsible for Risk Management function in L&T covering large projects in the area of Hydrocarbon, Heavy engineering, Defence and Construction in India and abroad. He also implemented the framework of Internal Financial Control [IFC & ICFR] and closely interacted with Internal Audit and IT team to strengthen the checks and balances in the system.

The new Cost Audit rules were introduced in 2011 and he was responsible for guiding all business verticals of L&T with the preparation of the Annexures to the Cost Audit Report, consolidation at HO and coordinating the process of audit.

As a member of the Working Group constituted by the Institute of Cost Accountants of India in 2012, contributed significantly in developing the First Guidance Note on "Maintenance of Cost Accounting Records for Construction Industry".
